“ State flour is a must if youre in the Berkeley area! Its up there with some of the best in terms of quality and balance of flavors. A delicious and wellseasoned crust, perfectly portioned toppings, and also great service! It can get very crowded so it was just loud and hard to hear but atmosphere aside, the pizza and service is top tier. I could see myself ordering this to go and it being a great time. Ill for sure be back! ”

Crust is thin, no flop, slightly sweet and chewy like NY. 25 for all large is pretty standard nowadays for a quality pizza and thats what you get here. “ What an amazing find! They said theyve been open for almost three years, but this was our first time last night. We went there because of the rave reviews of their glutenfree pizza crust option my son is glutenintolerant, but its so much more. Gf crust is normally a crackerlike flat bread at most pizzerias, but at State Flour, its the Detroitstyle rectangular pan crust, nice and thick. We had their apple endive salad with little gems, blue cheese, prosciutto, pistachios and the perfect dressing to complement the flavors we were blown away. I had the Chloe pizza with spigarello which was like a cross between kale and broccolini, sausage, farm egg and other goodies. My sons Ollie pizza was packed full of mushrooms, pesto, leeks, sausage... I rarely write Googe reviews, but their great food and really friendly service prompted me to write one, since we hadnt heard of them til last night. Well definitely be back. ”
